Youth Justice Services

Youth Justice Services promote the development of law-abiding behaviour primarily through an integrated, multi-disciplinary approach for youth who are in conflict with the law.

How are we doing?

Community supervision and custody programs for youth ages 12 to 17 at the time of their offence as well as mental health assessment and treatment services for youth who are in custody or under community youth justice supervision.

Services included community supervision and case management of youth in conflict with the law including support and rehabilitative resources; youth custody centres; and mental health assessment and treatment services to young offenders, consultation services to probation officers and youth custody centres, and highly specialized, multi-disciplinary violent offence and sexual offence treatment programs to youth who present a high risk to the public.
